Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about orders, testing, shipping and products.

What is Kelden Scientific Canada?

Kelden Scientific Canada is a Canadian supplier of peptides and related materials intended strictly for laboratory research, analytical testing and in-vitro applications.

What are research peptides?

Research peptides are short chains of amino acids studied in laboratory settings for their chemical properties, molecular activity and interactions with biological systems. Products sold by Kelden Scientific Canada are supplied as laboratory research materials only.

Are Kelden Scientific Canada products intended for human use?

No. Our products are not intended for human or animal consumption, injection, administration, diagnosis, treatment, prevention of disease or medical use.

Who may purchase research products?

Products should be purchased only by qualified researchers, laboratories, institutions or individuals with the appropriate knowledge, equipment and facilities to handle research materials safely and legally.

Does Kelden Scientific Canada provide medical advice?

No. Information provided on our website is for general laboratory and educational purposes only. We do not provide medical advice, personal-use instructions, treatment recommendations or human dosing guidance.

Are Kelden Scientific Canada products laboratory tested?

Testing documentation may be available depending on the product and batch. Customers should review the applicable product page or laboratory report to determine which tests were completed for a specific batch.

What is a certificate of analysis?

A certificate of analysis, commonly called a COA, documents analytical results associated with a particular product or batch. A COA may include identity, mass, purity or other test results depending on the analysis performed.

Does a COA apply to every product batch?

No. Laboratory reports apply only to the product and batch identified on the report. Results from one batch should not be assumed to represent another batch.

What is peptide purity testing?

Purity testing estimates the percentage of the analyzed sample represented by the primary detected compound. Purity testing does not independently confirm sterility, endotoxin levels or the exact quantity contained in a vial.

What is peptide identity or mass testing?

Identity or mass testing evaluates whether the molecular mass of the analyzed material is consistent with the expected compound. Identity testing and purity testing measure different characteristics.

Is purity testing the same as sterility testing?

No. Purity, identity, microbial limits, sterility and endotoxin testing are separate analytical procedures. A passing result from one test does not automatically confirm that a product has passed every other type of test.

Why may products from different batches look different?

Minor differences in appearance, texture or lyophilized structure may occur between batches because of formulation, concentration, production and freeze-drying conditions. Appearance alone cannot confirm product identity or quality.

How should unopened research peptide vials be stored?

Unopened products should be stored according to the instructions provided on the product label, product page or accompanying documentation. They should generally remain sealed, dry and protected from excessive heat, moisture and direct light.

Are lyophilized peptides stable during shipping?

Lyophilized materials are generally more stable than materials in solution and can usually tolerate ordinary shipping conditions. Product-specific storage instructions should be followed promptly after delivery.

What should I do if my product arrives warm?

Allow the unopened package to reach its recommended storage conditions and inspect it for visible damage or compromised seals. Contact Kelden Scientific Canada through our Contact page if the package experienced unusual heat exposure or arrived damaged.

Can Kelden Scientific Canada provide reconstitution instructions?

We do not provide instructions for preparing products for human or animal administration. Qualified researchers are responsible for developing and validating laboratory preparation methods appropriate to their controlled research application.

What should I do if a vial is cracked, leaking or unsealed?

Do not handle or use a product when its container or seal appears compromised. Photograph the vial and packaging and submit a damaged-order claim within the timeframe stated in our Refund and Replacement Policy.

Where does Kelden Scientific Canada ship?

Eligible orders are shipped across Canada through available postal or courier services. Shipping availability may depend on the destination, product, carrier service and applicable restrictions.

How long does order processing take?

Orders are processed after payment confirmation and verification of the order information. Processing times may vary because of product availability, order volume, weekends, holidays or other operational factors.

Will I receive tracking information?

Tracking information will be provided when available after the order has been processed and transferred to the shipping carrier. Carrier tracking may take time to update after acceptance.

Are delivery dates guaranteed?

No. Delivery times provided by postal and courier services are estimates. Weather, holidays, service interruptions, address issues and other circumstances may affect delivery times.

Is product information displayed on the outside of the package?

Orders are packaged to protect the contents during shipping. Exterior labels contain the information required by the carrier and applicable shipping rules.

What happens if my order is marked delivered but cannot be found?

Check entrances, mailrooms, parcel lockers and with other occupants at the address. You should also contact the carrier and Kelden Scientific Canada promptly so the tracking information can be reviewed.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Contact Kelden Scientific Canada within 24 hours of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, clear photographs of the damaged product and packaging, and the relevant tracking information.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Changes or cancellations may be possible only before processing begins. Submit your request through our Contact page immediately, although changes cannot be guaranteed.

Does Kelden Scientific Canada accept returns?

No. Delivered products cannot be returned because their handling, storage conditions and chain of custody cannot be verified after delivery.

When may a refund or replacement be approved?

A refund, replacement or store credit may be considered when an item arrives damaged and the claim is submitted with the required evidence within the stated reporting period.

Are refunds available for carrier delays or incorrect addresses?

Refunds are generally not provided for carrier delays, missed deliveries, incorrect customer-provided addresses, improper storage, customer handling damage or minor packaging marks that do not affect the product.

How does Kelden Scientific Canada protect customer information?

Customer information is used for order processing, support, fraud prevention, business records and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards and do not sell customer personal information. Additional details are available in our Privacy Policy.
